We are eight days out from publication and I am losing my mind with excitement! It’s been over 10 years since I first started writing this book (30 years if you count the childhood journal entries that are included throughout text) and I honestly never thought this day would actually arrive.
Before pub day, I want to thank all the people that helped me take this project to the finish line, starting with my incredible agent Jeff Kleinman and my amazing editor Millicent Bennett. So many people have been involved along the way and I’m truly thankful for everyone’s input and advice and support. Join me on November 12 at 7 p.m. We will kick off the celebration with a conversation hosted by Andrea J. Buchanan, New York Times bestselling author of The Beginning of Everything. I’ve been nail-biting for a couple of weeks now since my advanced review copies went out to other authors, bloggers, media outlets and book reviewers. It has been terrifying to put Wild Life out into the world and know that soon the feedback would begin to arrive.
